Red Hot Chilli Padi: Dinner and Grooves

An evening to fulfill your senses, including live music and a playful 4 course meal that dances between Singaporean and American classics using local seasonal ingredients

Hosted by London-based Singaporean Shu Han Lee and former Brooklynite Michael Zick Doherty.

Local jazz cat, Kyle Wilson, will be gracing us with his trio, The Kyle Wilson Experience and guest mixologist Zigis “The Swizzler” Switzer will be shakin’ up some sexy.

Shu’s recipes, food writing and styling work have appeared in Cereal Magazine, The New York Times Diner's Journal (thanks to Crumbs Magazine), Great British Chefs, Hey Tucker Australia, Honeycombers Asia, among other foodie publications and platforms. She has been fortunate enough to be named one of Britain's best food bloggers for her blog Mummy, I can cook by The Sunday Times (UK). She was most recently part of the Plusixfive collective, and has just finished art directing Plusixfive- A Singaporean Supperclub Cookbook, published by the brilliant folks at Epigram Books.

Michael grows kale with the poop from fish (google aquaponics). He is one of the founders of Bitponics and has been involved in several urban agriculture projects in New York including the Brooklyn Garage and Hayseed’s Big City Farm Supply. He advocates sustainable food systems and healthy living through programs he’s created in cities around the globe, including Buenos Aires and Singapore. He makes really good pancakes because he’s American.
